Due to continued success in delivering major projects across the UK, this leading Service Provider seeks to recruit a skilled and experienced Management Accountant/Financial Controller to lead and develop a team whilst providing strategic input into the overall operation of the business.
This wide ranging role would suit an ambitious and entrepreneurial individual who is seeking a role within industry. Reporting to the FD, the position will involve significant day to day involvement with the business management team together with the wider commercial and operational functions. Your primary focus will be to ensure that all financial controls and activities, preparation and submission of monthly accounts and forecasting and budget processes for the business are completed in a timely and accurate manner. In addition you will work in conjunction with the Commercial Director and commercial teams to ensure reconciliation between commercial and financial information as well as the control of balance sheets and supporting reconciliations.
The successful applicant will be a qualified Accountant with in depth experience in the preparation of financial reports for operational purposes and implementing financial process and controls. You will be able to operate in a commercial environment and provide strategic input into key decisions
You will be able to demonstrate a high attention to detail, excellent organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines.
